Soul Vegetarian Restaurant is a vegan restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida. The restaurant, a member of the largest family of vegan restaurants world-wide is owned by the African Hebrew Israelites who promote a vegan diet in which all living creatures are cherished and not sacrificed for our nutritional needs.We present to you an alternative!
Soul Vegetarian Restaurant specializes in vegan versions of soul food staples like BBQ Tofu, Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens and corn bread, along with various specials, vegetables, desserts and drinks served daily. Live salads and a variety of wheat-free items are also served. You'll also find our line of soy ice-cream flavors to be creamy and delicious!
The restaurant started here in Tallahassee in 1998 as a small silver food trailer located on the campus of FAMU, then a second cart was opened downtown on Kleman Plaza and remained for about 11 years. A third cart was used to vend at local and long-distance events and festivals. On April 24th, 2010, we opened Soul Vegetarian Restaurant and Catering (no longer on wheels!) and we plan to continue expanding our business to better serve you!
